I used photoshop to add noodles, replacing the bristles. It is a great combination, as it looks like bristles, but they are not.

Again using photoshop I "isolated" the brush by surrounding it with mirrors, which look similar, but not quite.

I really liked the "hair" as bristles. Combining hair with a brush(brushes are used on hair)creates a nice metaphor.

I created the brush in illustrator, but put it all in photoshop to add the bristles. I matched up the colors with eyedropper and put in the bristles. I really like the play on this.
"Paddling down the river"

If the brush was big enough in real life, I am sure it would make a great paddle for a kayak! Photoshop.
